Andrew is a seventh-generation Vermonter who originally hailed from Rutland. After graduating from Williams College with a B.A. in Economics, Andrew made the move north to the “big city” of Burlington. During the 1990s, he served as CEO of County Data, his family’s consumer marketing business. After selling the business, Andrew began his entrepreneurial career and started ilovermont.com (now Vermont Design Works) with the goal of helping Vermont companies gain visibility in the rapidly-growing online world. Andrew is also Co-Founder and part-time Chief Technical Officer of iMarket Solutions, which is the world’s largest provider of websites for HVAC and plumbing companies.
Andrew is a long-time board member and past board president of the Boys and Girls Club of Burlington, where he also serves as a mentor for one of the Club’s members. In addition, he is one of the partners of FunRaising101, a not-for-profit company dedicated to creating fun and unusual charity fundraising events. The company’s signature event is Santa Night, an annual holiday fundraiser that raises over $15,000 per year for needy children in Burlington and supports events in a growing list of communities around the country.
Andrew lives in the Old North End of Burlington with his wife, Betsy, and their too-numerous pets. In his spare time, he enjoys photography and competing as a handler in “DockDogs” jumping events with his chocolate lab mix, Lily.
